Today was another beautiful day of snow. I was tired from the weekend . . . I had Trinity time . . . and with the weather changes had more pain than usual . . . so it was a perfect day to sleep in. With the arrival of a few inches of snow, Karl working from home, Matthew's school cancelled, and Don's school cancelled we had a full, but quiet, house. Cris and Don's Equinox is in the garage getting a new Transmission, and Don is staying with us so that he can get a ride to and from work. Unfortunately we can't take him home to Huntsville every night, because it is an hour there and an hour back. Anyway, so he's going to be with us this week while his car's in the garage.
We had birds galore at our feeders, with not a squirrel to chase them away. I'll have to get a picture up here of the new invention Karl made to hang my feeders from . . . which squirrels can't walk on or get to the seed. Quite ingenious. One of these days his inventions will make us money, maybe. :0)
Karl and I made a quick run into town and loaded up on more groceries . . . we are having more snow through the night . . . and then again Wednesday and Thursday, and the freezing temperatures have arrived.
We watched two "Librarian" movies . . . and "Midway", which was for Matthew's Contemporary American History class. We topped the night off with watching The Bachellor. OMG! I cannot BELIEVE Ali went home instead of staying for Jake!! She's our favorite, though there is something we like about 3 of the 4 left. So - yeah - we were couch potatoes. And loved it. Poor Cristyane and Trinity were home, and so far from us . . . we missed having them with us, and I think that even though Cris had her animals, she may of missed being with the group.
Oh, my funny of the day. Trinity called Nana (my mom) to tell her to call Grammy (me) and ask me to go pick her (Nana) up, and bring her (Nana) to Trinity's house. She said "ask Grammy, because if you ask her, she will do it!" So cute . . . I just love her. She really thinks things out, too. She is getting used to her new school in Huntsville, where they live now. I pray for a good rest of the year for her.
Well - here it is late again. I need to run off to get my cuddles before my honey falls asleep. Don't tell anyone, but I HOPE he has to work from home again tomorrow!! ;0) Love having him around.
Sweet dreams, all!
